A recognized services organization in New Jersey is looking to add a new Artificial Intelligence Project Manager to their team. In this role, the Artificial Intelligence Project Manager will be responsible for counseling the executive leadership on AI-driven technology strategies and policies to create a sustainable competitive advantage in the Transportation industry. ***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.*** Responsibilities: The Artificial Intelligence Project Manager will: Create AI Governance model along with AI Policies for client Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for AI projects, from conceptualization to deployment Document and share insights, architectural decisions, and best practices from each AI project for cross-organizational learning. Create an ecosystem that integrates innovative AI technologies like generative models and large language models Work with internal and external partners to pinpoint impactful AI use-cases and deliver transformative solutions Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and machine learning to inform and drive strategic decisions Align AI-driven projects and initiatives with business objectives through ongoing collaboration with stakeholders Evaluate, fine-tune, and scale AI models and systems to ensure consistent performance and reliability Uphold best practices and standards for AI ethics, security, and data privacy within the organization Mentor a talented team of AI specialists, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and growth Facilitate effective communication of complex AI concepts to a diverse audience, from technical experts to business leaders Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Data Science or job-related field Doctoral Degree or equivalent Advanced degree in a qualitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, etc. Familiarity with transportation data standards and experience working with large databases, to clean, standardize and integrate data from multiple sources Proficiency in integrating data from traditional relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL/Teradata etc.) as well as other data architectures Experience creating visualizations, reports and dashboards using BI tools Experience with advanced analytics using Python, and proficiency in librarie Experience in application of advanced machine learning techniques to tasks Experience with cloud deployment of ML/AI applications Practical experience in leveraging large language models for real-world solutions Comprehensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and the Software Development Lifecycle Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience in a transportation system Prior transportation industry knowledge
