Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Artificial Intelligence Engineer will develop Artificial Intelligence applications using Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.

AI Engineer will also design/verify imaging sub-components and intellectual property. You will coordinate with design, verification, and software engineers to complete assigned tasks. In addition to writing specification and test documents, you will plan and perform design engineering research or design development assignments, including responsibility for design and or verification of a major projects.

Essential Functions

* Study and innovate in artificial intelligence/machine learning and its application in industrial robotics

* Extract insights and trends of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence applications to drive new technology development

* Evaluate commercial and open-source approaches in Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Analytics

* Collect, synthesize, and propose requirements and create effective product/feature roadmap

* Contribute to solving business problems as part of a project team by framing the problems, determining intended approach and quantitative methods, evaluating the analytical solutions to the problems, and deploying them to production

* Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) designs to evaluate the feasibility of new projects, algorithm development and/or AI platforms

* Work on different sensors such as Camera, LiDAR, radar, GPS, IMU and ultrasonic to collect sensor data and create a complete understanding of surroundings

* Interface such sensors with software for application development

* Develop algorithms for a real-time embedded system, testing, and completing functional safety and productization activities

* Solves a wide range of complex industrial problems effectively, creating or modifying techniques to obtain solutions

* Collaborate with strategic and tactical team members to define project milestones

* Study current processes and gather information on problem statement to solution development

* Design and develop end-to-end solutions using artificial intelligence and image analysis techniques

* Leverage AI to build warehouse storage layout and vehicle travel path

* Own ideas, turn them into products/features, watch customers love them, and get credit for all of this

* This position requires up to 30% travel (two weeks per month)

Qualifications

* Minimum Qualifications:
* 1-3 Years - Experience in Industry, advanced material handling solutions & information technologies along with 1-3 lifecycle implementations of engineered automation systems with varied complexities

* 1-3 Years - Experience in Project Management

* 1 Years + - Experience managing people/projects

* - Python

* - C++, C# programming language

* - JavaScript

* - Computer Vision: feature extraction/matching, SLAM, SFM, VO/VIO, multi-view geometry

* - Microprocessors

* - Machine Learning

* Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
* Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 Years- Experience in Industry, advanced material handling solutions & information technologies along with 3-5 lifecycle implementations of engineered automation systems with varied complexities

* 2 Years - Experience in Project Management

* Experience may include a combination of work experience and education

Education

* Minimum Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline of engineering, or the equivalent in combined education and considerable experience in similar field may be considered equivalent.

* Preferred:
* Master's Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline of advanced Engineering

Certification/License:

* Required: Python, C++, JavaScript

* Preferred: Computer Vision
