On-Demand Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join a recently developed team. As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, with expertise in chatbots, NoSQL databases, event-driven architecture, and proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and Python. Additionally, experience with managing or building AI projects is highly desirable. This role requires onsite work in the Southwest metro of the Twin Cities. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions, with a focus on chatbot development.
2. Utilize NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, for efficient data storage and retrieval.
3. Implement event-driven architecture to create scalable and responsive AI systems.
4. Work with Kafka to build robust and scalable event streaming pipelines.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality AI solutions.
6. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JavaScript and Python.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in artificial intelligence.

Technical Requirements:

1. Proven experience in developing and deploying chatbots.
2. Strong proficiency in NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
3. In-depth knowledge of event-driven architecture.
4. Experience with Kafka for building event streaming pipelines.
5. Proficiency in JavaScript and Python.
