The Vice President of Data & Analytics will develop the business of data for Viewpoint and the construction industry at large.  Building upon the wealth of data being managed via Viewpoint solutions, this individual will build upon and create a strong vision and strategy for data and analytics solutions and services for Viewpoint customers and the construction industry at large.  She or he will lead the creation of products and services related to business intelligence, company and industry benchmarking, and predictive and prescriptive analytics to optimize future outcomes.  The individual will build upon their inherent understanding of data related businesses combined with high touch engagement with customers and other subject matter experts.

The individual must collaborate across all areas of Viewpoint as well as work directly with our clients, other market leaders and the broader Company organization.  He or she will provide a business and technical vision on how to utilize the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics and related technologies and processes to advance the state of the construction industry.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Define analytics offerings that will allow clients to view and interact with their data to make business decisions
  • Define Benchmarking capabilities that will allow clients to compare themselves to companies similar to them 
  • Create predictive models that allow clients to make future business decisions
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and other analytical techniques to offer actionable insights 
  • Lead the development of prescriptive models that make recommendations for clients based on best practices surfaced through the analysis of industry data
  • Define data best practices and play a key role in building a data-driven culture throughout Viewpoint
  • Be a thought leader and evangelist to drive adoption and knowledge of analytics solutions at all levels of the organization
  • Provide technical leadership across the organization
  • Develop and implement strategies to support ongoing data management needs, such as governance, technology shifts, and regulatory compliance 
  • Provide timely input and direction on information requests for one-off activities, such as acquisition, partnership analysis and new product initiatives
  • Develop a data science organization to support data analysis and data governance


  • 10+ years working in software product management with SaaS software experience
  • 5+ years working in data and analytics services such as business intelligence or other “big data” applications
  • Proven track record of successfully leading product business planning, product definition, product delivery and product go to market.
  • Led one or more predictive and prescriptive projects that are now in market
  • Led one or more AI initiatives that are in the market
  • Technical domain knowledge of AI, ML and related fields
  • A visionary, able to connect vision to strategy to action
  • Lead the execution of short and near-term strategies critical to the organization’s success
  • Able to create investment strategies with medium to long-term ROI
  • Understanding the challenges associated with capturing, moving, storing and mining complex data sets
  • Deep understanding of data privacy and the security required of client data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business domain knowledge of the construction industry 
  • MBA degree
