Position: SQL & NoSQL Data Analyst
Perform relational database (SQL) and NoSQL data modeling and data analysis including designing and documenting data models and database structures and performing queries, query optimization, database maintenanceand upgrades, data governance, data acquisition, and data retention strategies; design and implement NoSQL data models and databases including MongoDB, Hadoop, Reddis, OrientDB, and Cassandra; write technical specifications, test cases, use cases, and other technical documents in order to demonstrate design approach of the project; perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting during production and post–production implementation; design, develop, maintain, support and perform administration of NoSQL databases that support enterprise applications including MongoDB and Hadoop; provide data analysis of production data through tools and disciplines such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence; populate databases from various sources, using ETL tools and processes such as SSIS; define and maintain processes such as Data Governance; design and operate MongoDB NoSQL databases including implementing new databases and supporting, administrating and maintaining existing databases; establish direction for high availability and disaster recovery solutions for MongoDB databases; analyze production data through various methods including queries, scripting, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence; work with Business Analysts, Business Partners, and Developers to create solutions that will deliver analysis of production data; provide impact analysis to various interconnected systems; provide technical analysis and innovative solutions for the design and architecture of scalable software solutions; build software modules that adhere to best practices architecture and technology roadmap for the applications; and develop methods to optimize programs, processes, technology design and architecture.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Hours, Salary, and Location: 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
