Will be responsible for the Qlikview Development, server management, and automation of web / mobile applications to support 500+ CHEP users, with a focus on the Logistics Supply Chain Functions. These responsibilities will include complex application development, data synthesizing, system/software training, server support and maintenance, programming, database administration, implementation of system software infrastructures, and improvements to the code writing and applications design.

This role requires superior system / technical and programming skills, preferably in QlikView development. The candidate should also possess the ability to implement concepts such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Process Automation and Other Tools that will support the business transition towards Advanced Analytics and drive the business forward.

The developer will play a major role in the strategic vision of the Logistics Business Intelligence team, which is to continue building a robust analytical platform through Qlikview development and assist as a thought leader for future innovations. This platform will empower Qlikview end-users to navigate complex information and accelerate discovery into critical factors that impact cost and service performance.

• Responsible for leading all aspects of technical design, development and deployment for the CHEP Qlikview & Python applications
• Provide technical expertise within the Qlikview & Python applications to include; Application Administration; Technical Design; Configuration/Customization; Data Migration/Conversion; Interfaces; Defect resolution; Deployment and support
• Lead design/code reviews with technical team members per development guidelines
• Analyze/diagnose data quality or system deficiency issues to provide options for resolution; Evaluating and increasing the program's effectiveness
• Support system administration, monitoring, security and server management for Qlikview application environments
• Provide leadership and training in the development of technical skills in others through active knowledge sharing/mentoring
• Manage all aspects of the design, development and implementation of multiple platforms and applications
• Work directly with business units to define and prototype Qlikview and Python Applications
• Develop Mobile Applications and Push Alert Functionality
• Develop Applications for Digital Signage and Logistics Control Center
• Requires advanced business and operational understanding of the supply chain network, demand and inflow planning, inventory and safety stock management, transportation, logistics, and supply chain finance
• Advanced Knowledge of Logistics Supply Chain Functions to drive decision making
• Extracting, transforming and mapping “big data” from multiple sources into QlikView applications from SAP, BW, Salesforce, SQL Server, Access, Excel and other sources
• Translate software requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for use in business
• Developing technology specifications and ensuring that new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness, and leveraging existing technologies when possible
• Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability
• Provides documentation of specifications, test, training and data quality policies and procedures related to the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems
• Performs advanced analytical development on large structured and unstructured data sets; measures, interprets and predicts trends and patterns to inform key decisions
• Lead Design, Development, and Integration of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Process Automation, and/or Prescriptive and Predictive Analytics Tools within the BI Platform
